Getting to

  • The Bar is in the lobby on the ground floor.
  • The most accessible route has step-free level access.

Entrance (Ramped Entrance)

  • The entrance to the bar is located on the ground floor of the main resort building, in the lobby.
  • There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance to the bar.
  • The ramp is steep, between 75cm and 150cm wide, with a handrail on the right going down.
  • There is a manual door at the entrance, which opens both ways.
  • The width of the door opening is 94cm.
  • The door has a low colour contrast.

Bar

  • The bar has full table service and serves food and drink.
  • Menus are handheld.
  • Food served includes: modern European cuisine, desserts and sandwiches and snacks.
  • The following are available: drinking straws, takeaway cups, a portable card machine for payment and room charge.
  • There is no hearing assistance system.
  • There is background noise which varies, depending on the time of day.
  • None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm) .

  • Internally the lift has; a visual floor indicator, a mirror to aid reversing and controls at a recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm).

Toilet

  • The male standard toilet was surveyed.
  • There is also a female toilet in the same location.
  • There is not step-free access into the toilet.
  • There is 1 step to access the toilet. This is unmarked, with no handrails.
  • The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
