Access Guide
Getting to the Room (2006)
- The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
- Cross the lobby opposite the reception desk and bypass the stairs and glass balcony.
Proceed past the shops and take a left, passing the lifts.
Turn right into the room corridor and the door to room 2006 is on the left. - The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
- Some flooring on the route is shiny.
Room (2006)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 2 rooms of this type in the resort.
- All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 90cm wide.
- The bed type is double.
- The top of the mattress is 50cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 12cm high.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
- The room does have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.

Ensuite (2006 - Left Hand Transfer)
- The ensuite door opens towards you and has an opening width of 90cm.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).

- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
- There is a lateral transfer space on the left hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 120cm.

Pass through the single, manual door and take the ramp, which is straight ahead, to the second room corridor. The door to room 1201 is on the left. - The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, a steep ramp/slope and a manual door.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
- Some flooring on the route is patterned.
Room (1201 - Family Room)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There is 1 room of this type in the resort.
- There is step-free access into the room, via a ramp.
- The ramp is steep, between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- The room door is manual, opens outwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 90cm wide.
- The bed type is double and twin.
- The top of the mattress is 55cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 12cm high.
