Access Guide
Getting to (Activity Pool)
- The pool is in the grounds of the resort, at the front left of the main building.
Access to the pool varies depending on where the guest's room is.
For those in the main building the pool can be reached using the ramps on the walkways through the car park and front of the grounds.
For those in the accommodation blocks, the pool can be reached using the ramps or steps throughout the grounds. - The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is on Level 2 of the main building, opposite Carob Lounge, please click here for more information (new tab)
Swimming Pool
- This is an outdoor swimming pool.
- Access into the pool area is via a steep ramp/slope.
- The ramp is between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- Access into the water is via a ladder.
- There is step-free level access around the whole pool.
- The pool is not staffed and does not have a lifeguard.
- Seating around the pool includes: sun loungers.
- Additional facilities include: poolside showers.
- The flooring is hard.
- There is step-free level access to the poolside showers.
Toilet
- The shared standard toilet was surveyed.
- There is not step-free access into the toilet.
- There are 4 steps to access the toilet. These are unmarked, with no handrails
- The wash basin tap type is lever mixer.
- Lighting levels are low in the cubicle.
