Access Guide
Getting to (Main Pool and Slides)
- The Main Pool and Slides are located in the centre of the resort grounds.
- The most accessible route has a slight ramp/slope.
Swimming Pool (Main Pool and Slides)
- This is an outdoor swimming pool with waterslides.
- There is step-free level access into the pool area.
- Access into the water is via a ramp or a ladder.
- There is step-free level access around the whole pool.
- The following adaptations are available for disabled people: pool lift.
- The pool has a lifeguard on duty at all times.
- Seating around the pool includes: sun loungers.
- Additional facilities include: a children's pool, poolside showers and a poolside bar.
- The flooring is hard.
- There is step-free level access to the poolside bar.
- There is not step-free access to the poolside showers.
- There are two pool slides. Both pool slides have stepped access.
Swimming Pool (Children's Pool)
- This is an outdoor swimming pool with waterslides.
- Access into the pool area is via a steep ramp/slope.
- The slope is over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- Guests get into the water by dropping directly in from the side of the pool.
- There is step-free level access around the whole pool.
- The following adaptations are available for disabled people: pool lift.
- The pool is not staffed and does not have a lifeguard.
- Seating around the pool includes: sun loungers.
- Additional facilities include: poolside showers and a poolside bar.
- The flooring is hard.
- There is step-free access to the poolside bar, via a steep slope.
- There is not step-free access to the poolside showers.
Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Close to Children's Pool - Left Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 88cm.
