Getting to the Room (204)

The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
From reception, take a lift to the second floor. On exiting the lift, turn left and proceed through the double doors and along the room corridor. Room 204 on the left hand side.
The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, a standard lift and doors permanently held open.
The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
The width of the lift door opening is 80cm.
The internal dimensions for the lift are 108cm x 157cm.
Some flooring on the route is patterned.

This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 4 rooms of this type in the resort.
All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
There is step-free level access into the room.
The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
The room door opening is 90cm wide.
The bed type is double.
The top of the mattress is 60cm from the floor.
The space under the bed is 30cm high.
Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
The room does have an emergency alarm.
There is low pile carpet.

The ensuite door opens away from you and has an opening width of 83cm.
There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).

The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
There is a lateral transfer space on the left hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 80cm.
