Access Guide
Getting to (Coffee House)
- The Coffee House is located in the central courtyard, next to the Wunderbar.
- The most accessible route has a door permanently held open and step-free level access.
- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is next to the Wunderbar, within the male toilets, please click here for more information (new tab).

Entrance
- The entrance to the café is located at the front of the building.
- There is step-free level access at the entrance to the café.
- There is a manual door at the entrance, which is permanently open.
- The width of the door opening is 95cm.
- The door has a high colour contrast.
Café
- The café has full table service and a counter where food and drink can be ordered.
- Menus are displayed on the counter.
- Food served includes: sandwiches and snacks.
- The following are available: drinking straws and takeaway cups.
- There is no hearing assistance system.
- There is background noise which varies, depending on the time of day.
- None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm).
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- The flooring inside is hard.
- The flooring is shiny.
- Lighting levels are good in this area.
Seating
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There is some space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- The seating includes: bench seats, chairs with armrests and chairs without armrests.
- Some of the tables are suitable for wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction).
- The flooring inside is hard.
- Some flooring is shiny.
- There is no (or very little) background noise.
- Lighting levels are good in this seating area.
