Access Guide
Getting to the Room (444)
- The average walking time to the room is 10 minutes.
- Leave the reception building via the rear door and follow the path down the slope to the right.
Continue along the sloped path, heading in the direction of the swimming pool.
Proceed through the swimming pool area and follow the path to the right of the lower swimming pool area.
The path then winds through the accommodation blocks, heading toward the direction of the football pitch.
The block with Room 444 is on the left before the football pitch. - The most accessible route to the room has slight ramps/slopes and steep ramps/slopes.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are over 180cm.
Room (444)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 10 rooms of this type in the resort.
- All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 75cm wide.
- The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
- The top of the mattress is 52cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 25cm high.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
- The room does not have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
- This room has a balcony. The balcony has a single step for access and a door width of 86cm.
Ensuite (444)
- The ensuite door slides open and has an opening width of 75cm.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
- There is a lateral transfer space on the right hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 95cm.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder and a soap dispenser.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side and a vertical grab rail at the shower.
- There is a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
- There is a flip-down seat in the wheel-in shower.
