Getting to the Room (Block 10, Room 326)

The average walking time to the room is 10 minutes.
From reception, take a lift to level 0 and exit the building through the open doorway.
Take a left and continue across the level pathway. Turn left again, then right down the ramp.
Take another right and proceed along the level pathway then turn left into Block 10. Proceed up the slight ramp into Block 10 and take a lift to floor 3.
On exiting the lift turn right and continue ahead into the room corridor. Veer right and then take a left into another room corridor.
Take another left, then right and the door to room number 326 is on the right.
The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, a standard lift, slight ramps/slopes and an open entrance with no doors.
The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
The width of the lift door opening is 80cm.
The internal dimensions for the lift are 108cm x 138cm.
Some flooring on the route is shiny.
There are buggies available for all guests, which are used to overcome the ramp/slope.
The buggies can be transferred into from a wheelchair.

This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 5 rooms of this type in the resort.
All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
There is step-free level access into the room.
The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
The room door opening is 80cm wide.
The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
The top of the mattress is 66cm from the floor.
The space under the bed is 35cm high.
There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
The room does have an emergency alarm.
There is hard flooring.
The width of the balcony door is 96cm.

The ensuite door opens towards you and has an opening width of 80cm.

The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
There is a lateral transfer space on the right hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 100cm.
Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder.
There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side, a vertical grab rail on the non transfer side, a horizontal grab rail at the shower and a vertical grab rail at the shower.
There is not a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
