Access Guide
Getting to the Room (1121)
- The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
- From the reception area, enter the lobby through the automatic doors. The doors are 171cm wide.
Take a lift to level 1.
Turn right after you exit the lift and proceed along the room corridor until you reach room number 1121.
The width of the room corridor is 141cm. - The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, a standard lift and automatic doors.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are under 120cm.
- The width of the lift door opening is 90cm.
- The internal dimensions for the lift are 125cm x 127cm.
- Some flooring on the route is shiny.
Room (1121)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 4 rooms of this type in the resort.
- All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
- There is step-free level access into the room.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a medium colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 80cm wide.
- The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
- The top of the mattress is 65cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 13cm high.
- Furniture can be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
- The room does not have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
Ensuite (1121)
- The ensuite door opens away from you and has an opening width of 80cm.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin, a standard bath and a shower head over the bath.
- There is a lateral transfer space on the left hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 70cm.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder and a soap dispenser.
