Resort Information
- The resort is located in Phuket in southwest Thailand, on the Bang Tao beach.
- This resort has 3 levels and 2 lifts. It is mostly step-free via level pathways or slight/steep ramps.
- This resort has the following facilities: rooms with some adaptations for disabled people, beach access, swimming pools, a splash park and restaurants.
- The resort has 202 rooms available. 60 of these rooms have adaptations for disabled people.
- Adjoining rooms are not available.
- There are 4 restaurants.
- There are 3 swimming pools (excluding room pools).
- Toilet and changing facilities available include: a toilet with some adaptations for disabled people and step-free standard toilets.
- Toilet facilities with some adaptations for disabled people can be found in the reception lobby.
- Standard toilet facilities can be found in the reception lobby, next to the stage in the entertainment area and in the beach restaurant.
- Baby change facilities can be found within the female toilet in the reception lobby.

Entrance
- The entrance to the resort is located at the front of the main resort off a side road, which is off Soi Cherngtalay 14.
- There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance to the resort.
- The ramp is slight, over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There is an opening without doors at the entrance, which is permanently open.
- The width of the door opening is 300cm.
Reception
- There is step-free level access to reception.
- The reception desk is too high for a wheelchair user.
- The reception does not have a hearing assistance system.
- There is hard flooring.
- The height of the reception desk is 114cm.
Getting Around the Building
- This building contains a main reception, bars, restaurants, a gym and indoor play areas.
- The building has multiple floors which can be accessed via stairs and lift.
- From the reception lobby there is step-free level access to the rooms with adaptations for disabled people, to the open doorway at the rear of reception and to the standard toilets.
There are lifts in the adjacent accommodation building to access the rooms on the 1st and 2nd levels. - From reception there is ramped access to the toilets with adaptations for disabled people.

Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Right Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free access into the toilet, via a ramp.
- The ramp is slight, between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is automatic, opens by sliding and has a medium colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 107cm.
- The toilet door has a push button lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 174cm x 249cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 102cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush in the centre of the cistern.
- There is no dropdown rail.
- Grab rails in the toilet include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a toilet roll holder, an emergency alarm, a wash basin, a soap dispenser and a towel dispenser.
- The toilet has no mirror.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a waste bin with lid.
- There are no coat hooks.
Toilet
- The female toilet was surveyed.
- There is also a male toilet in the same location.
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- There is a baby change facility which is not at a recommended height (75cm).
- The width of the door into the female toilet is 90cm. The width of the cubicle door is 70cm.
The height of the baby changing table/bench is 50cm.
