Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Right Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens by sliding and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 78cm.
- The toilet door has a hook lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 303cm x 164cm and it has a turning space of at least 150cm x 150cm.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 138cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- The lateral transfer space on the left is 133cm from the side of the toilet pan to the wall.
- The lateral transfer space on the right is 138cm from the side of the toilet pan to the wall.
- There is a push button flush on top of the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on both sides of the toilet seat.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a toilet roll holder, an emergency alarm, a wash basin, a hand dryer and a soap dispenser.
- The toilet has a mirror which has been angled for ease of use.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a waste bin without lid.
- There are no coat hooks.
