Getting to the Room (119)

  • The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
  • From the reception lobby, take a lift to the 1st floor. On exiting the lift, take a left and proceed through the fire doors and into the room corridor.
    The door to room 119 is the second door on the right.
  • The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, a standard lift and doors permanently held open.
  • The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
  • The width of the lift door opening is 90cm.
  • The internal dimensions for the lift are 110cm x 200cm.
  • Some flooring on the route is shiny.

Room (119)

  • This room has adaptations for disabled people. There is 1 room of this type in the resort.
  • There is step-free level access into the room.
  • The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast.
  • The room door opening is 90cm wide.
  • The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
  • The top of the mattress is 57cm from the floor.
  • The space under the bed is 5cm high.
  • Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
  • The room does have an emergency alarm.
  • There is low pile carpet.

Ensuite (119 - Left Hand Transfer)

  • The ensuite door opens away from you and has an opening width of 80cm.
  • There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
  • There is hard flooring.
  • The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
  • There is a lateral transfer space on the left hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 104cm.
  • Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder, a soap dispenser and an emergency alarm.
  • There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
  • Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side, vertical grab rails on both sides of the wash basin and a vertical grab rail at the shower.
  • There is a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
  • The dropdown rail next to the toilet can also be accessed in the shower.
