Getting to the Room (113)

  • The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
  • Head down the corridor immediately to the right of the reception desk.
    Pass through the double manual fire doors and continue along the room corridor. Room 113 is on the right.
  • The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access and manual doors.
  • The majority of the walkways on route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
  • Some flooring on the route is shiny.

Room (113)

  • This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 3 rooms of this type in the resort.
  • All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
  • There is step-free level access into the room.
  • The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast.
  • The room door opening is 93cm wide.
  • The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
  • The top of the mattress is 60cm from the floor.
  • The space under the bed is 6cm high.
  • There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
  • The room does have an emergency alarm.
  • There is hard flooring.
  • There is an open doorway into the bedroom. There is no balcony.

Ensuite (113 - Left Hand Transfer)

  • The ensuite door opens towards you and has an opening width of 85cm.
  • There is room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
  • There is hard flooring.
  • The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a wheel-in shower.
  • There is a lateral transfer space on the left hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 105cm.
  • Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder, a soap dispenser and an emergency alarm.
  • There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
  • Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail at the shower and a vertical grab rail at the shower.
  • There is a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
