Access Guide
Getting to the Room (3440)
- The average walking time to the room is 10 minutes.
- Exit the reception lobby through the main doors and head down the steep ramp, taking a left onto the pathway at the bottom.
Take a left at the corner and continue along the pathway to the crossing.
Cross the road at the crossing and turn right then immediately left at the corner, then continue along the pathway.
Pass by the laundry room then take a left at the room signage and head down the slight slope, veering right towards the pool area.
On the left is a small ramp which leads to the patio and entrance to room 3440.
The Vibra Blanc Cottage building is about 250m from the reception at Vibra Blanc Palace. Some of the surfaces on the route are uneven. - The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access, slight ramps/slopes, a steep ramp/slope and automatic doors.
- The majority of the walkways on route to the room are under 120cm.
Room (3440)
- This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 3 rooms of this type in the resort.
- All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
- There is step-free access into the room, via a ramp.
- The ramp is slight, over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast.
- The room door opening is 80cm wide.
- The bed type is twin.
- The top of the mattress is 56cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 26cm high.
- Furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed.
- The room does have an emergency alarm.
- There is hard flooring.
Ensuite (3440 - Left Hand Transfer)
- The ensuite door opens towards you and has an opening width of 80cm.
- There is not room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
- There is hard flooring.
- The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a wash basin and a shower cubicle.
- There is a lateral transfer space on the left hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 100cm.
- Fixtures within the ensuite include: a toilet roll holder and a soap dispenser.
- There is no dropdown rail.
- The shower door is 81cm wide.
