Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Reception Lobby - Right Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 80cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 179cm x 145cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 73cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on top of the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: the toilet roll holder.
- The following fixtures are not at the recommended height: the toilet seat (not at 48cm) and the toilet roll holder (not between 80cm - 100cm).
- The following have a high colour contrast with their surroundings: the internal toilet door.
- The following have a less clear colour contrast with their surroundings: the grab rail, the dropdown rail, the floor and the toilet seat.
- There is no emergency alarm.
- The toilet has no mirror.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has no disposal facilities.
- There are no coat hooks.
- The wash basins and hand dryers are outside of the toilet cubicle, in the main toilets.
