There are 24 Blue Badge bays available in the main car park, 16 in the Treatment Centre and 6 located at the Geoffrey Hodges Wing.

Getting Help and Assistance

- There is a Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) at the hospital.

- There is a Changing Places facility at this hospital which is located on the right of the corridor as you approach the Porters Lodge from the main entrance.
- There are telephone and face to face language interpreters available.
Telephone interpretation services are available 24 hours a day.
Patients should contact the ward or clinic that they will be attending to discuss interpreting needs.
Virtual appointments are available via Attend Anywhere.
Interpreters can be used during these virtual appointments.
BSL interpreters are provided by Staffordshire (including for patients attending Attend Anywhere virtual appointments).
Patients can pre-book face to face interpreting by contacting the ward/department with: Patient name, Appointment date & time, Clinic name & location and Hospital number (if known).
Patients can also book directly with Staffordshire ASSIST at assist@staffordshire.gov.uk.
Out of Hours face to face BSL interpreters can be requested by texting booking details to 07977 007 184.

Getting To (Multi Faith Room)
- The Multi Faith Room is/are located on the first floor of the main hospital.
- Access to the Multi Faith Room is via the main hospital entrance.
- Enter via the main entrance and proceed ahead down the corridor.
Go through a set of open double doors, passing Costa on the left and continue ahead to the Help Desk.
Turn right and proceed ahead. Turn left at WH Smith.
Continue down the corridor through another set of open doors.
Take a lift, located on the right hand side of the corridor, to level 1.
Upon exiting the lift turn left and follow the corridor.
The Multi Faith Room is located straight ahead. - There is step free access, via lift, to the Multi Faith Room.
- The Multi Faith Room is approximately 21m from the lift.
- There are resting areas along the route.
- Wayfinding signage is provided.
- Dementia friendly signage is not provided.
- There is some flooring in corridors which is shiny and could cause issues with glare or look slippery to some people.
- There is some flooring in corridors which includes patterns or colours which could be confusing or look like steps or holes to some people.
