Getting To The Hospital

By Road
View
- The hospital is located on Uttoxeter Road to the west of Derby and can be accessed via the A38, A52, A50 and the M1 off junction 25.
For sat/nav, please enter DE22 3NE. - There are 8 car parks for patients and visitors based off the internal loop road.
Car Park 3 is for the use of Blue Badge holders and has 64 spaces available.
There are other Blue Badge spaces throughout the hospital at Entrance 24, Entrance 21 and the Children's Hospital.
Blue Badge parking is free for a maximum of 3 hours.

Getting Help and Assistance

Getting To (The Gallery)
- The Gallery is/are located on level 3 (The Gallery) of the main hospital.
- Access to the Gallery is via the main hospital entrance.
- Enter via the main hospital entrance and proceed straight ahead. There are stairs to the left and a lift to the right-hand side. Either proceed up the stairs to level 2 then take the lift, or take the lift ID 3372 from level 1 to level 3. Exit the lift and turn left, The Gallery is directly ahead.
- There is step free access, via lift, to the Gallery.
- The Gallery is approximately 5m from the lift ID 3372 on the Gallery Floor.
- There are not resting areas along the route.
- Wayfinding signage is not provided.
- Dementia friendly signage is not provided.
- There is some flooring in corridors which is shiny and could cause issues with glare or look slippery to some people.
