Access To
- Room KCS17 is located on the second floor of the Cromwell Tower within King's College, to the left from the Cromwell Tower stairs.

- The most accessible route has steps and narrow walkways.
- There is numbered signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access into KCS17.
- There is a single manual door which opens away from you.
- The width of the opening is 80cm.
- The door has a high visual contrast.
- There is a second single manual door which opens away from you.
- The width of the opening is 80cm.
- The second door has a medium visual contrast.
- There is a third door, similar to the second leading into the room.
Teaching
- This is a teaching room.
- There is step-free level access throughout the room.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
- There is not a hearing assistance system.
- Floor coverings are even with no trip hazards.
- The walls and floor have a medium visual contrast.
- Lighting levels were uneven at the time of the survey, with pools of light and shade and unshaded light sources.
- Lighting levels are adjustable.
- There are no designated spaces for wheelchair users.
- There is space for an assistance dog to rest.
- Seating available in the room includes: chairs without armrests.
- Furniture available in the room includes: desks.
- Some desks are fixed.
- The surface heights are not suitable for wheelchair users.
- The clear underside space of the surfaces is not suitable for wheelchair users.
- The speaker's desk/table is height adjustable.
