Access To
- The Regent Lecture Theatre is located through to the rear right from the main entrance of the Regent Building.

- The most accessible route has manual doors and step-free level access.
- There is written text signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access into the Regent Lecture Theatre.
- There are double manual doors which open towards you.
- One of the doors was locked at the time of the survey.
- The locked door can be opened on request .
- The width of the opening is 75cm.
- The doors have a medium visual contrast.
Teaching
- This is a lecture theatre.
- There is step-free level access to the speaker’s area and front row only.
- The following areas have stepped access: the rear rows of seating.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
- There is a fixed hearing assistance system which is not clearly signed.
- Floor coverings are even with no trip hazards.
- The walls and floor have a medium visual contrast.
- Lighting levels were even at the time of the survey.
