Stairs (East Wing Levels 4 and 5)

  • The stairs surveyed are located in the East wing at the rear left of the building, opposite the East wing lift.
  • There are double manual doors to access the stairwell.
  • Levels 4 and 5 can be accessed by these stairs.
  • There are 20+ steps between floors.
  • The steps have faded markings and have a handrail on the right going up.
  • The handrail is not easy to grip.
  • The handrail covers the flight of stairs throughout its length.
  • The handrail does not extend horizontally beyond the first and last step.

Toilet with Adaptations (Level 2 - Left Hand Transfer)
