- Astley Clarke Building is a medium sized building with four floors.

Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free via slight slopes.
- There are two entrances into the building.
- The main entrance provides step-free access via slight ramps and has one set of permanently held open double doors followed by a set of automatic double doors.
- Both entrances give access to the ground floor.
- The main entrance is signed as Astley Clarke Building.
- There is another entrance towards the rear of the building on the ground floor with four steps and handrails on either side and a manual single door.
- This entrance accesses the building near the Lecture Theatre and is signed as Astley Clarke Building - Lecture Theatre entrance. .
Getting Around
- There is step-free level access throughout the building on all floors.
- Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish.
- There are resting areas in some lobby areas with a mixture of seating.
- Overhead and wall mounted wayfinding signage is provided throughout the building.
- There are manual doors in some main circulation corridors that are permanently held open, but there are none that need to be opened manually.
- Access to some areas is by manual doors.

- There is a similar alternative ramp to the right of the entrance with a handrail on the left going up.
