Access To (Ablution Area)
- Along the corridor towards the rear of the building, on the ground floor of the Freemen's Common Cottages.
- View information on Freemen's Common Cottages (opens new tab).
- The most accessible route has a steep ramp or slope, manual doors and shiny flooring.
- There is pictorial and written text signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access into the Ablution Area.
- There is a single manual door which opens away from you.
- The width of the opening is 75cm.
- The door has a high visual contrast.
- Inside the Ablution Area is a washbasin with a push control tap.
Access To (Prayer Room)

- There are separate male and female prayer rooms.

- The most accessible route has a steep ramp or slope, manual doors and shiny flooring.
- There is pictorial and written text signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access into the Prayer Room.
- There is a single manual door which opens away from you.
- The width of the opening is 66cm.
- The door has a high visual contrast.
Room (Prayer Room)
- There is step-free level access throughout the room.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
- There is not space for an assistance dog to rest.
- The walls and floor have a high visual contrast.
- Seating available in the room includes: chairs without armrests.
- There is not a hearing assistance system.
- Lighting levels were even at the time of the survey.
