- The Hicks Building - Lecture Theatre Block is a medium sized building with four floors.
- The are no lifts or stairways in the building. Access to other floors is via the main lift and main staircase in the Hicks Building - Main Block.
- The floors are signed as floors D, E, F and G.
- There is not a toilet with adaptations available.

Getting Inside
- There is a slight slope to the pavement outside the main Hicks building and a very easy ramp on the approach to the main Hicks Building entrance.
- The Lecture Theatre Block has two internal entrances from the Hicks Building - Main Block.
There are no external entrances directly into the Lecture Theatre Block. - The external entrance to the Hicks Building - Main Block is signed as Hicks Building.
The internal entrance from the Main Block into the Lecture Theatre Block on floor F is signed as Mathematical and Physical Sciences Reception. Other internal entrances are not signed. - The Hicks Building - Main Block external accessible entrance provides access to the internal entrance of floor D of the Hicks Building - Lecture Theatre Block.
- Floors D and E are accessed via stair lifts.
Getting Around
- There is step-free access via lift on floors D and E. There is step-free level access on floors F and G.
- Floors D and E do not have main circulation corridors and are isolated from the rest of the building.
Floor D only give access to Lecture Theatres 3 and 4
Floor E only gives access Lecture Theatre 5. - Access to floors D and E is via platform lifts.
- Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish.
- There is no seating available in circulation areas.
- Wall mounted wayfinding signage is provided throughout the building.
- There are manual doors along some circulation routes.
