Access Guide
Location of Room(s)
- Teaching Workshop 101 is located on the mezzanine level at the west end of the building. Access via the long ramp or the stairs, which are adjacent to the student entrance .
- There is ramped/sloped access from the student entrance to Teaching Workshop 101.

Teaching/Seminar Room(s)
- Signage for the room(s) is not available in upper and lower case lettering that is clearly visible on or near the door.
- The corridor outside the room(s) is sufficiently wide enough (150cm+) to allow wheelchair users to pass.
- There is step free access into the room(s) from the corridor.
- The ramp or slope does bypass the step(s).
- The door opening width(s) is/are 75cm+ for the room(s).
- The door(s) for the room(s) is/are not push pad activated.
- There is not a hearing assistance system for the room(s).
- There is a visual fire alarm beacon in the room(s).
- There is fixed furniture within the room(s).
- A height adjustable table/bench is not available.
- There are no chairs with armrests on both sides within the room(s).
- The room does have an unobstructed minimum turning space of 150cm x 150cm.
- Floor coverings in the room(s) are even with no trip hazards.
- There are two ramps giving access to this room from the student's entrance (see picture 1, ramp 1).
The second long ramp can be seen in pictures 3 and 5.
There is a door along the ramp giving access to the corridor outside of the room (see pictures 4 and 5).
The room can also be accessed by stairs (see pictures 7 and 8).
