Alternative Routes (Ground Floor)

  • Alternative Lift Route - Option 1 View
    • If you are on the ground floor and the lift is not working, there is an alternative route to level 2.
      This route is via the rear entrances to the building.
    • The approximate length of the route is 160m.
    • Access along the route includes steep slopes.
    • There are automatic doors along this route.
  • No Alternative Lift Routes View
    • If you are on the ground floor and the lifts are not working, there is no alternative lift route to levels 3, 4, or 5.
      Level 1 is out of bounds for purposes of access.
  • Assistance Required View
    • If all lifts are out of service or you require emergency assistance please call 01483 682002 and Campus Safety will attend. Evacuation chairs are available.

Alternative Routes (Level 2)

  • Alternative Lift Route - Option 1 View
    • If you are on Level 2 and the lift is not working, there is an alternative route to the ground floor. This route is via the front entrance to the building.
    • The approximate length of the route is 160m.
    • Access along the route includes steep slopes.
    • There are manual doors to open along this route.
  • No Alternative Lift Routes View
    • If you are on the second floor and the lifts are not working, there is no alternative lift route to Levels 3, 4, or 5. Level 1 is out of bounds for purposes of access.
  • Assistance Required View
    • If all lifts are out of service or you require emergency assistance please call 01483 682002 and Campus Safety will attend. Evacuation chairs are available.

  • No Alternative Lift Routes View
    • If you are on Levels 3, 4, or 5, and the lifts are not working, there are no alternative lift routes. Level 1 is out of bounds for purposes of access.
  • Assistance Required View
