Alternative Routes (Ground Floor)

  • Alternative Lift Route - Option 1 View
    • If you are on the ground floor, there is not a lift available to take you to the first floor of the building.
      There are alternative external routes around the building to the first floor via the ground floor side and main entrances.
      Exit the building via the ground floor side entrance.
      Continue along the path and turn right and right again at the end.
      Carry on up the hill and there will be a ramp on the right into the PATS Building (PA).
      Take the ramp and enter the building via the first floor.
    • The approximate length of the route is 65m.
    • Access along the route includes steep slopes.
    • There are manual doors to open along this route and a key card or code is required.
  • Alternative Lift Route - Option 2 View
    • If you are on the ground floor, there is not a lift available to take you to the first floor of the building.
      There are alternative external routes around the building to the first floor via the ground floor side and main entrances.
      Exit the building via the ground floor main entrance.
      Turn left down the ramp and continue along the road passing the Innovation For Health Building (EFH) on your left.
      After the building, turn left up the hill and left again, passing front of the Innovation For Health Building (EFH) on your left.
      Continue along the walkway and the ramp to the PATS Building (PA) is located on the left.
      Take the ramp and enter the PATS Building (PA) via the first floor.
    • The approximate distance of the route is 120m.
    • Access along the route includes steep slopes.
    • There are manual doors to open along this route and a key card or code is required.
  • Assistance Required View
    • If all lifts are out of service or you require emergency assistance please call 01483 682002 and Campus Safety will attend. Evacuation chairs are available.

Alternative Routes (First Floor)

  • Alternative Lift Route - Option 1 View
    • If you are on the first floor, there is not a lift available to take you to the ground floor of the building.
      There is an alternative external route around the building to the ground floor via the side entrance.
      Exit the building via the rear entrance and continue down the ramp, turning left at the end.
      Carry on down the hill until you reach the road and turn left.
      Follow the road and turn left towards the PATS Building (PA) side entrance.
      Continue straight ahead and enter the ground floor of the building via the side entrance.
    • The approximate length of the route is 65m.
    • Access along the route includes steep slopes.
    • There are manual doors to open along this route and a key card or code is required.
  • Alternative Lift Route - Option 2 View
    • If you are on the first floor, there is not a lift available to take you to the ground floor of the building.
      There is an alternative external route around the building to the ground floor via the main entrance.
      Exit the building via the rear entrance and continue down the ramp, turning right at the end.
      Continue straight ahead along the pathway, passing the Innovation For Health Building (EFH) on your right.
      At the end of the pathway, cross the road and turn right and continue down the hill until you reach the end.
      Turn right at the end of the hill and continue towards the PATS Building (PA), passing the rear of the Innovation For Health Building (EFH) on the right.
      Continue up the ramp and enter the ground floor of the PATS Building (PA) via the main entrance.
    • The approximate distance of the route is 120m.
    • Access along the route includes steep slopes.
    • There are manual doors to open along this route and a key card or code is required.
