Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free via slight slopes.
- Park has three entrances.
Two entrances provide step-free level access to floor G and one provides stepped access to floor G.
There are double manual doors at the two alternative entrances and double automatic doors at the Park entrance. - The most accessible entrance is signed as 'University of West London' externally but as the 'Park entrance' on internal signage.
The other two entrances are not signed. - The Park entrance provides step-free level access to Heart on floor G.
- The alternative step-free level entrance is located on the east side of Park, whilst the alternative stepped entrance is located on the north side of Park.
Getting Around
- There is step-free level access throughout the majority of the building on all floors.
- On floor 1, there are eight steps leading to rooms PK.01.006-011. They are at a height of 14cm and a depth of 26cm.
- On floor 2, there is a slight slope in the corridor between the lift and the teaching rooms.
- Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish.
- There are no resting areas in circulation areas.
- Wall mounted wayfinding signage is provided throughout the building.
- There are manual doors along circulation routes throughout the building.
