- The Luxborough Building is a large building with 6 floors.
- There are 2 main staircases within the Luxborough Building.
There is an additional staircase within the Library.
There is no lift within the main area of the Luxborough Building. Lift access to the other floors of the Luxborough Building is via lift B of the Marylebone Building for floors B3, B3, B1 and 1 or the Library lift for floor 2. - The floors are signed as B3, B3, B1, ground and 1.

Getting Inside
- Access to the Luxborough Building is via the Marylebone Building.
The Marylebone Building can be accessed via a slight ramp from Marylebone Road. - The Luxborough Building can be accessed by one of two sets of double doors on the ground floor located off the Podium. These entrances are level.
There is a long slight ramp to access the raised part of the Luxborough Building ground floor off the Podium. This ramp overcomes steps.
Lift B in the Marylebone Building can be used to access the Luxborough Building on floors B3, B2, B1 and 1. On floor 1 there is a set of double manual doors to access the Luxborough Building from the lift. There are also two sets of double automatic doors on approach from Luxborough Tower. - None of the entrances into the Luxborough Building are signed except the entrance on the first floor of the Marylebone Building which is signed as Luxborough Building via Library Bridge.
Getting Around
- There is step-free level access throughout the majority of the Luxborough Building.
- There is a steep ramp to access the Male and Female prayer rooms on floor B2.
- The floor surfaces are hard and smooth with a shiny finish.
- There are resting areas on the ground floor.
- There is signage located throughout the building.

- This area provides access to the Lecture Theatres on the ground floor and the Library Step-free entrance.

- The most accessible route has step-free level access and shiny flooring.
- There is no signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free access via ramp into the Luxborough Building.
- The ramp has a slight gradient.
- The ramp is over 150cm wide with no handrails.
- The ramp bypasses the steps.
- There are 5 steps with handrails on both sides.
- The handrails are easy to grip.
- The handrails cover the flight of stairs throughout its length.

- The stairs surveyed are located towards the right of the Luxborough Building accessed off the main level of the ground floor.
- There are double manual doors to access the stairwell.
