Access To (Muslim Prayer Room Male Entrance)
- The prayer room is located on floor B2 of the Luxborough Building.
- There is a similar entrance into the female prayer rooms.

- The most accessible route has a steep ramp or slope and shiny flooring.
- There is pictorial and written text signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free access via ramp into the Prayer rooms.
- The ramp has a steep gradient.
- The ramp is over 150cm wide with handrails on both sides.
- There is a single automatic door which opens away from you.
- The push pad for the automatic doors is at a height of 100cm.
- The width of the opening is 80cm.
- The door has a low visual contrast.
- There is a push pad or push button to exit at a height of 100cm.
Room (Muslim Prayer Room Male)
- The entrance into the prayer room accesses the prayer room washing facilities.
There is an automatic door with a width of 80cm into the main prayer room. - There is step-free level access throughout the room.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
- The flooring is shiny.
- The walls and floor have a high visual contrast.
- There is not a hearing assistance system.
- Additional facilities/services include: ritual washing facilities.
- There is no (or very little) background noise in this room.
- Lighting levels were even at the time of the survey.
