The London Borough of Lewisham is located south of the River Thames and to the south-east of the city. Lewisham town centre has a wealth of places to visit including shops, restaurants and bars, plus a park and a town square. The Horniman Museum and Gardens is perfect for a family friendly day out with its aquarium, Butterfly House and natural history collection. Mountsfield Park offers excellent views west over Catford to Crystal Palace in the distance. For bookworms, the Manor House Library is a listed building with stunning architecture, renovated and re-purposed into a popular library which opened its doors in 2017.
