Accessibility Overview  

This beach-front, three-storey resort is spread over 11 buildings and is mostly accessible via level pathways and sloped roads and pathways of varying degrees.  There are 8 lifts. 

There is step-free level access to the lifts, the rear exit door and the lobby seating area.  There is step-free access via lift to the main buffet restaurant (level 1), the entertainment area, the activities, the beach, the main bar (level -1), the toilets with adaptations for disabled people and the standard toilets (level 2). 

There is step-free access via ramps and slopes of varying degrees to the main entrance doors, the pool area, the beach and the rooms with adaptations for disabled people.  Alternatively, there are buggies available to transport guests around the resort. 

The resort has 662 rooms, 10 of which have adaptations for disabled people.  We were able to survey room number 7112 on the ground level 5, which is accessed via buggy or ramps and slopes of varying degrees.  The room has an ensuite bathroom with a wheel-in shower.  There are handrails next to the toilet and a flip-down seat in the shower.  The journey from reception to the rooms with adaptations for disabled people takes approximately 5 minutes by buggy. 

The journey from reception to the beach takes approximately 15 minutes and is accessed via ramps and slopes of varying degrees, or approximately 5 minutes by buggy. 

Mobility equipment is not available to hire at reception, but the hotel can provide details of local suppliers.  There are no adjoining rooms available.
