    Accessibility Overview

    The resort provides accommodation in 6 buildings, some of which have 6 storeys. The resort is accessible via some step-free level pathways, with many ramps and slopes of varying degrees. There are 6 lifts. There is a pool hoist available for guests.

    There is step-free level access to the main entrance doors, the toilet with adaptations for disabled people, the standard toilets, the lifts, the lobby bar and the shop. There is step-free level access via lift to some of the guest rooms, the restaurants, the activities and the entertainment area.

    There is step-free access via slight ramps to the rooms with adaptations for disabled people, the main buffet restaurant, the pool area and the entertainment area. There is step-free access via a steep ramp to the restaurant, from the pool area. There is stepped access to the balconies in some of the guest rooms.

    Free entry to the PortAventura Theme Park is included for All Inclusive guests. It takes approximately 10 minutes to walk, alternatively a free shuttlebus is available for transportation to and from the theme park.

    The resort has 501 rooms, 8 of which have some adaptations for disabled people. We were able to survey room number 6101 on the first floor of the Armadillo building, accessible via slight ramps and a lift. The room has an ensuite bathroom with a bath and shower over. There are handrails next to the toilet and in the shower. There is no shower seat available. The journey from reception to room 6101 takes approximately 6 minutes. There are some adjoining standard rooms available.

    Mobility equipment is not available to hire at reception, but the hotel can provide details of local suppliers.
