About Hotel Cala Bona

Accessibility Overview 

The hotel is located in the centre of Cala Bona on the east coast of Majorca. The main resort buildings are on level ground with some steps and slight to steep ramps to get around. The majority of the resort is step-free with internal lifts overcoming the steps.

There is step-free level access via lift to the main swimming pool, with a hydraulic hoist for access into the pool. Access to the beach, from the resort, includes slight ramps, the average walking time to the beach is four minutes.

The resort offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people.

The resort offers 6 rooms with some adaptations for disabled people. We were able to assess Room 101, the remaining rooms are similar to this one. All rooms are ensuite.

There is step-free access via lift and steep slope to reach this room and step-free level access to get into the room. The ensuite has a toilet with a right-hand transfer space and a drop-down rail and a wheel-in shower with a shower seat and a wall mounted grab rail.

Mobility equipment is available to hire at reception.  There are no adjoining rooms available.
