Accessibility Overview

This 798 room resort consists of two buildings, one called the Tabaiba Princess and one called the Maspalomas Princess, both being 4 storeys high. Both sides to the resort are accessible mostly via level pathways, with some ramps. There are 8 lifts.

There is step-free access from reception to the toilets with adaptations for disabled people, standard toilets, lifts, rooms with adaptations for disabled people, gym, spa shops and the rear exit door.

There is step-free access via lift to the main buffet restaurant, games room and mini market (on level -1) and the standard guest rooms (on levels 1-4).

There is a slight ramp on the kerb to access the main entrance.

There is a steep ramp outside the rear exit doors in the reception lobby, to access the pools, entertainment, splash park, activities and facilities.

The beach is approximately 20 minutes walk via a promenade at the rear of the resort.

The resort has 798 rooms, 10 of which have adaptations for disabled people. We were able to survey room number 224 on level 0. All the rooms with adaptations for disabled people have an ensuite bathroom with a wheel-in shower unit with a dropdown shower seat. There are handrails next to the toilets and in the shower. The journey from reception to the rooms takes approximately 2 minutes.

Mobility equipment is not available to hire at reception, but the resort have details of local suppliers. There are no adjoining rooms in the resort.
