About Porto Bello Royal

Accessibility Overview 

Porto Bello Royal is located a short distance outside of Kardamena on the island of Kos. The resort is located on a hill overlooking the Aegean Sea, with two sloped paths on either side of the resort grounds, which slope down from the main building to the beach area.

The majority of the resort has step-free access via steep ramp and slopes, with a steep ramp to access the spa.

There is step-free access via steep slope to the outdoor swimming pool near the Italian Restaurant, with stepped access into the pool.

The resort offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people.

The resort offers 4 rooms with some adaptations for disabled people. We were able to assess Room 155, the remaining rooms are similar to this one. All rooms are ensuite.

There is step-free level access via lift to reach this room and step-free level access to get into the room. The ensuite offers a right hand transfer space and room for a wheelchair to turn. There is a wheel-in shower with space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre, a shower seat and a dropdown rail.

Mobility equipment is not available to hire at reception, but the hotel can provide details of local suppliers.  There are standard adjoining rooms available.
