About Rixos Sungate

Accessibility Overview 

Rixos Sungate is located in Kemer, Antalya Region, Turkey.

The resort is predominantly situated on level ground, with very slight slopes to get around. However, there is a slight ramp used to access the Lotus Bar, and some steep ramps used to access the Turquoise and Veranda Restaurants, and toilets by the shopping area.

There are also some slight and steep ramps within the Port Queen Building used to access some of the hotel rooms, including a slight ramp used to access Adapted Room 2102. There are steps, bypassed by a steep ramp, between the Main Hotel Reception and Port Queen Reception.

There is step-free access via steep ramp to the indoor swimming pool, with a hydraulic hoist to allow access into the pool. Access to the beach, from the resort, includes slight ramps. The average walking time to the beach is less than two minutes.

The resort offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people.

The resort offers 10 rooms with some adaptations for disabled people. We were able to assess Room 2102, the remaining rooms are similar to this one. All rooms are ensuite.

There is step-free access via slight and steep ramps to reach this room and step-free level access to get into the room. The ensuite has room for a wheelchair user to turn,  a toilet with a left-hand transfer space and a drop-down rail and a wheel-in shower with a shower seat and a turning space for a wheelchair user.

Mobility equipment is available to hire at reception.  There are standard adjoining rooms available.
