Accessibility Overview

This 111-room adults-only resort is mostly accessible via sandy pathways with some steep ramps and steps.  Transfer to the resort is via speedboat from the airport on the capital island of Male.  An all-terrain wheelchair is available on the jetty to collect the guests who arrive by speedboat and there is a buggy available to transport guests around the resort. 

Much of the resort is step-free and level, but as it is a sandy surface, it may be difficult for people with mobility issues.  There are no toilets with adaptations for disabled people. 

There is step-free access via steep ramps to the main entrance, the restaurant and the entertainment bar. 

There is stepped access to the coffee shop, the standard toilets, the gym and all of the guest rooms. 

The resort has 111 rooms, none of which have adaptations for disabled people.  We were able to survey room number 428, which is approximately 5 minutes walk from reception.  The room has an ensuite bathroom with a shower cubicle.  There are no handrails next to the toilet nor in the shower cubicle.  

The journey from reception to the beach takes approximately 2 minutes to walk. 

Mobility equipment is not available to hire at reception, but the hotel can provide details of local suppliers.  There are no adjoining rooms available.
