Accessibility Overview

This beach-front resort is spread over 3 buildings, with the main building having 5 levels, all accessible by lift.  The resort is mostly accessible via step-free level pathways with some ramps of varying degrees.   

There is step-free level access from the reception to the toilets with adaptations for disabled people, the standard toilets with baby changing facilities, the lobby bar and the lifts.  From the lifts on level -1 there is step-free level access to the restaurant, the entertainment, the activities, the pools and the beach. 

 There is a small steep ramp to access the main entrance to the resort.  There is also a long steep ramp to access one of the rooms with adaptations for disabled people (room number 1201). 

The resort has 310 rooms, 3 of which have adaptations for disabled people.  We were able to survey room numbers 2006 and 1201 on the ground floor.  Room 1201 is a family room with adaptations for disabled people. Both rooms have an ensuite bathroom with wheel-in showers.  There is a flip-down shower seat in room 2006 and a portable shower seat in room 1201.  There are handrails next to the toilets and in the showers.  The journey from reception to both rooms takes approximately 2 minutes. 

The journey to the beach takes approximately 2 minutes and is step-free via level pathways and a long, slight slope. 

Mobility equipment is not available to hire at reception.  There are no adjoining rooms available.
