Accessibility Overview

The 697-room resort is spread over 14 two or three storey buildings and is set in a hillside. Accessibility is via some level pathways with many ramps and slopes of varying degrees. There are 14 lifts spread throughout the resort. There is a pool hoist and there is a buggy available to assist guests with their luggage.

There is step-free level access from the reception lobby to the lifts, the lobby bar, the terrace, the toilets with adaptations for disabled people and baby changing facilities and the standard toilets. There is step-free level access via lift to the gym, the pool area, the main buffet restaurant, the entertainment areas, the activities, the splash park, the route to the beach and some of the guest rooms.

There is step-free access via slight ramps to the main entrance doors, the multi-sports court, the volleyball pitch, the pool area and the splash park. There is step-free access via a steep ramps to the beach, the splash park, the sunbathing patio, the toilets near the snack bar and the snack bar.

There is stepped access to the beach, the private lodge and the tennis court. The journey to the beach takes approximately 15 minutes from the reception lobby and is not easily accessible.

The resort has 697 rooms, 5 of which have some adaptations for disabled people. We were able to survey room number 326 in Block 10 on the ground floor, accessible via lift and slopes of varying degrees. The room has an ensuite bathroom with a wheel-in shower. There are handrails next to the toilet and in the shower and there is a flip-down seat in the shower. The journey from reception to room 326 takes approximately 10 minutes.

Mobility equipment is not available to hire at reception, but the hotel can provide details of local suppliers. There are some standard adjoining rooms available.
