Accessibility Overview

The 534 room beach-front resort consists of one main building and several accommodation blocks around the resort. It is mostly accessible via slight and steep ramps and some level pathways.

From reception there is step-free level access to the rear exit door. There is step-free access via slight ramps to the standard toilets in the reception lobby. There is a slight ramped kerb to access the main entrance and a slight ramp to access the entertainment in the amphitheatre. There are many slight ramps around the resort.

From the rear exit door in reception, there is a steep ramp to access the terrace area, the rooms with adaptations for disabled people, the restaurant, the pools, the beach and activities. There is only one toilet with adaptations for disabled people, which is located next to the main pool.

There is stepped access to the spa on the 1st floor and to the guest rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor.

The journey to the beach takes approximately 4 minutes and is via ramps of varying degrees and level pathways.

The resort has 534 rooms, two of which have adaptations for disabled people. We were able to survey room number 10006 on the ground floor. The room has an ensuite shower room and wash basin and toilet. There are no handrails next to the toilet and in the shower. There is a flip-down seat in the shower. The journey from reception to the rooms takes approximately 2 minutes.

Mobility equipment is not available to hire at reception and there are no details available of any companies who rent mobility equipment. There are adjoining rooms available in the standard guest rooms.
