    About Old Aberdeen Campus

Aberdeen, Scotland's third-largest city, emerged from the coming together of two communities: New and Old Aberdeen. Monks, scholars, traders, and travellers settled in Old Aberdeen, where the 14th-century St Machar's Cathedral still stands, and where Bishop Elphinstone, in 1495, founded Kings College which would later become the University of Aberdeen.

Today and situated in the heart of Old Aberdeen, the university’s charming academic campus, with its cobbled streets, quaint buildings, and centuries old tradition and history, is one of the city's most cherished gems.
