The University of Hull’s campus is known for its compact and convenient layout, making it an ideal environment for students. Despite its smaller size, the campus is thoughtfully designed to ensure that all essential facilities are within easy reach. Students can quickly access lecture halls, libraries, and study spaces, as well as a variety of dining options and recreational areas. The proximity of these amenities fosters a close-knit community atmosphere, where students can easily balance their academic and social lives. Additionally, the campus’s location means that shops, cafes, and other local services are just a short walk away.
Our set of core values form the blueprint for the culture of the University and ensures consistency in actions and decisions across the organisation:
Accessible buildings ensure that everyone, regardless of their physical abilities, can use and enjoy the spaces we have on our campuses. Features designed for accessibility often improve the overall usability of a building for all users. At the University of Hull, we make every effort to strive towards a fully accessible campus, working closely with our estates and health and safety teams. We make a commitment to accessibility by investing in new facilities and adaptations to preexisting spaces.
The University has been partnering with AccessAble for a decade and we are very pleased to be continuing our joint commitment to providing clear and practical accessibility information.
